Advisory Members 
| Rene F. Bernier Advisory Board Member Rene F. Bernier is an advisory board member with About The Kids Foundation. A father of two children, Bernier brings more than 17 years of Information Technology experience. He is currently a Retail Solutions Specialist at Microsoft Corporation in Chicago, Illinois, where he works with Tier 1 retailers to create innovations at the edge of their enterprise, specifically, in the areas of supply chain, stores systems and with consumer touch points. Prior to Microsoft Corporation, Bernier was Client Manager with IBM Corporation, Chicago, Illinois where he worked with retailers to solve a variety of complex business issues in the areas of Store Systems, Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Resource Planning. Bernier also serves on the Board of Directors for a private Chicago Club to promote Art in the community. Bernier and his wife regularly participate in children charity events, volunteer for community clean up projects and are members of their local church. Bernier received his Bachelor of Science with a Computer Information Systems Major from DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois and continued education through Harvard Business School for Retail in Boston, Massachusetts. |

| Bruce H. Bess, Ph.D. Consultant Dr. Bruce Bess is a consultant with About The Kids Foundation. He is also the co-author of the Ekman Co-Parenting Journal. Bess brings more than 25 years of experience to About The Kids Foundation, in the area of clinical psychology, with a particular focus on family law and parenting issues. In addition to his work with About The Kids Foundation, Bess is a court appointed custody evaluator and special master working in the San Francisco Bay Area and has had more than 300 family court appointments in the past 15 years. He previously worked with San Mateo County Mental Health Services Department and was the director of the North County Community Mental Health Center, based in San Mateo, California. Bess received his doctorate in psychology from the Professional School of Psychology in Los Angeles, California. |

| Lisa M. Brown Advisory Board Member Lisa M. Brown is an advisory board member with About The Kids Foundation. A mother of two children, Brown brings more than 20 years of legal experience. She is currently Senior Counsel at Chevron Texaco Products Company in San Ramon, California, where she manages litigation for Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and Texaco Inc. She is also the legal liaison for the Chevron Texaco refineries in El Segundo, California, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Honolulu, Hawaii. Prior to Chevron Texaco Products Company, Brown was Of Counsel with Filice Brown Eassa & McLeod, LLP, Oakland, California, where she defended a variety of complex litigation matters in the areas of employment law and toxic tort and enjoyed an active appellate practice before the California Court of Appeals. Prior to Filice Brown Eassa & McLeod, LLP, she was a Associate Attorney with Hardin, Cook, Loper, Engel & Bergez in Oakland, California. Brown is active Member of both the State Bar Association of California and the American Bar Association. Brown also serves as a Project Leader for the annual East Bay Education Partnership Read Across America Day to promote elementary school reading. Brown and her two children regularly participate as volunteers for environmental conservation and wildlife preservation projects sponsored by non-profit organizations.
Brown received her Bachelor of Arts with an English Major from University of California - Berkeley, and her Juris Doctorate from University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. |

| Shelly L. Brunner Advisory Board Member Shelly L. Brunner is an advisory board member with About The Kids Foundation. Brunner brings more than 9 years of medical experience. She is currently a Nurse Practitioner within the OB/GYN Department at Camino Medical Group in Sunnyvale, California, where she provides routine prenatal and gynecological care to women across their lifespan. In addition to Camino Medical Group in Sunnyvale, California, Brunner is with Pollard & Dang, Los Gatos, California, where she is a Nurse Practitioner. Brunner has also worked with teens and women since 1996, she was an RN for Family Planning Clinic proving nursing care for sexually transmitted infection, PAP along with pregnancy follow up, parent education, clinical training of medical assistants, employee health and quality assurance and performed phone triage with problem related assessment. In addition to Brunner's Community Service work, she served as a co-facilitator of teen leadership program to create self-esteem by reducing substance abuse and teenage pregnancy. She has also worked with Dane County Advocates for Battered Women in Madison, Wisconsin. She has extensive training on all issues related to domestic violence with a concentration on group facilitation and shelter advocacy. Brunner received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Masters of Science in Women's Health, Nurse Practitioner from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Master of Science Program in Certified Nurse Midwife University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Brunner is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with the State of California. |

| James M. DesJardins Advisory Board Member James DesJardins is an advisory board member with About The Kids Foundation. A father of one child, DesJarins brings more than 20 years of business experience. He is currently a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on Fortune 100 companies in the western United States. Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, DesJardins was director of product strategy, alliances and business development for Synquest Inc., a company that developed supply chain planning applications. He also held various senior sales and management positions at PeopleSoft, J.D. Edwards, Hewlett Packard and Litton Industries.
DesJardins received his Bachelor's in Marketing from Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., and has completed graduate course work in Computer Science at Worcester State College in Worcester, Mass. |

| Michael Nicosia Sr. Advisory Board Member Michael Nicosia is an advisory board member with About The Kids Foundation. A father of two children, Nicosia brings a wealth of leadership experience in both the enterprise applications and business analytics market including over 15 years of successful executive sales roles.
Most recently, Nicosia joined the Liquid Engines team as Vice President of North American Sales. Prior to Liquid Engines, Nicosia spent several years at PeopleSoft, and during his tenure there as regional vice president of sales, he was responsible for a 100-percent increase in licenses of the company's market-leading financial software solutions. Nicosia has served insales leadership roles in leading companies such as Informatica, J.D. Edwards, Hewlett-Packard, and most recently, Datasweep. Nicosia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA.

| Stephanie L. Scott Advisory Board Member Stephanie Scott is an advisory board member with About The Kids Foundation. A mother of two children, Scott brings more than 15 years of small business experience from home based business. She currently owns and runs Scott Photography, Portraiture by Stephanie in San Jose, California. A portrait photography business focused on families, children and babies. Prior to owning and running her portrait business she was in residential home sales.

| Jay Suh Advisory Board Member Jay Suh is an advisory board member with About The Kids Foundation. A father of two children, Suh brings a wealth of leadership experience in both business and consulting roles. He is currently business consultant and licensed real estate agent. Suh was previously the vice president of sales at Design Solutions, an engineering services and manufacturing company specializing in New Product Introductions. In 2001, Design Solutions purchased Menlo Tech, a company that Suh founded and where he was president & CEO. Prior to Menlo Tech, he was vice president of business development at HireRocket, an application service provider that sells recruiting solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
Suh received his bachelor's degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors and member of the PTA at Covington School in Los Altos, California. |
